Masons' Morning Prayers
- Help me to live this day as I have been taught in Masonry:
to regard the whole human species as one family,
as children of the same Parent,
and inhabitants of the same planet;
and to aid, support and protect all whom I can,
as best I am able.
- Amen.
- May I this day pursue the grand aims of the true Mason:
to soothe calamity,
alleviate misfortune,
be compassionate to misery,
and restore peace to the troubled mind,
to the best of my ability.
- Amen.
- Let me begin this day and remember as I journey through it,
that to be good and true is the first lesson we are taught in Masonry.
Let me carry in my heart and mind, and exemplify in my every action,
the fact that truth is a divine attribute,
and the foundation of every virtue.
- Amen.
- I will strive to live
With Love and Care
Upon the Level,
By the Square.
- Grant to me this day such guidance of Thy Divine Wisdom
that my insights may be deepened,
my horizons widened,
and my usefulness increased.
- Amen.
- Let me act as a Mason in all my doings
that this day may be lived in service to others,
bring honor to the Craft,
and glory to Thy Holy Name.
- Amen.
- Let good will, peace and harmony
Fill all this day you give to me,
And touch my Brother, too, that he,
When day is done, may say with me,
"So mote it be! So mote it be!"
- Help me, O High and Holy One,
to go through this day symbolically carrying the Mason's trowel,
that in all my doings, I may spread the cement
of brotherly love and friendship.
- Amen.
- Let me be mindful throughout this day
that exemplary conduct is expected of me
if I am to merit the name and privilege of being a Mason.
- Amen.
- May everything I say or do this day
speak to all whom my life touches,
of nothing less than harmony, good will and peace.
- Amen.
Emessay Notes, a newsletter put out by the Masonic Service Association, carried the
following untitled prayer in its Jan.2007 issue, noting that it had been sung at the Grand Masters Banquets
in both 2001 and 2006.

A Prayer Song
This prayer is to be sung to the tune of Edelweiss.
Bless our friends,
Bless our food,
Come, O Lord, and sit with us.
Make our talk
Glow with peace
Come with your love surround us.
Friendship and Peace,
May they bloom and grow forever.
Bless our friends,
Bless our food,
Bless our homeland forever.
Amen.

He was ordained in 1953 and is (as of c.2006) still alive.
Since he is a Catholic priest, it's highly unlikely that he's also a Mason
